Civil Aviation Resources Network, May 12, 2025: According to Avherald, a Turkish Airlines passenger plane had a tail strike accident while performing a go-around at Prague Airport on May 11, local time. At present, the specific reason for the go-around has not yet been clarified.

It is reported that the passenger plane involved was an A321-200N aircraft (registration number TC-LSL), which was operating flight TK-1771 from Istanbul (Turkey) to Prague (Czech Republic) on that day. The passenger plane landed on Prague's runway 12, and the crew started the go-around procedure and hit the tail. Afterwards, the plane climbed to an altitude of 4,000 feet and prepared to approach again. About 15 minutes later, it landed safely on runway 12 and taxied to the apron.

Currently, the cause of the accident is still under investigation.
