According to Indian media reports, two A320 aircraft collided while taxiing at Mumbai Airport on February 3.
The Indian Civil Aviation Authority stated that Air India flight AI2732 was scheduled to fly from Mumbai to Coimbatore, and IndiGo flight 6E791 was flying from Hyderabad to Mumbai. Both aircraft were taxiing on the ground when their right wingtips collided. Both aircraft then taxied to the apron for safety checks.
Officials from the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGA) have arrived at the scene to conduct an investigation.

An Air India spokesperson stated that flight AI2732 from Mumbai to Coimbatore was delayed on February 3rd due to a collision between its wingtip and another airline's aircraft while taxiing for takeoff. The wingtips of the two aircraft made contact, resulting in damage to the wingtip of the Air India aircraft. As a precaution, the aircraft was grounded for further technical inspections. All passengers have disembarked safely, and alternative flights are being arranged to transport them to their destinations as quickly as possible. The incident has been reported to the Indian Civil Aviation Authority.
An IndiGo spokesperson stated that on February 3rd, IndiGo flight 6E791 from Hyderabad to Mumbai experienced wingtip contact with another airline's aircraft while taxiing after landing. All passengers are safe. The aircraft is undergoing maintenance checks. In accordance with established procedures, IndiGo immediately notified the relevant authorities and is investigating the incident.
