According to the British "Mirror" report on July 11, recently, a video showed that an airport staff member stole a plane, then flew it alone, and finally unfortunately crashed on a remote island, killing the plane.

Surveillance footage from Seattle airport shows Richard Russell, a 29-year-old baggage handler, walking through the airport's transit center, then opening the door, jumping into the cockpit, and taking off in a Q400 turboprop designed for short-to-medium trips. Russell had communicated with air traffic control that he was about to take off. As he flew over Washington state, air traffic controllers advised him to land safely. But Russell wasn't swayed, and he continued to make disturbing jokes with staff, who tried to find a place where he could land safely. Russell said: "Do you think Alaska will give me a job as a pilot if I make a successful landing?" he. Eventually, Russell's plane crashed on a remote island 30 miles outside of Seattle.

An FBI report revealed that Russell had said he knew how to fly a plane alone because he had played video games in the past. After investigators looked into his background, possible stressors and personal life, there was no clear motive for his actions.
