A fan group followed the celebrity and entered the VIP lounge. Since these fans were not authorized to use the VIP lounge, Thai Airways staff contacted airport security for assistance. Security personnel subsequently asked the fan group to leave the lounge.

However, the fan group continued to follow the artist. When the artist arrived at the boarding gate and underwent document verification, the fans again rushed into the area.

During the check-in process, the fan group refused to cooperate with staff and attempted to board the plane quickly with the artist, even following them all the way to the boarding bridge until the artist boarded. To prevent fans who had not yet completed check-in from entering the cabin, airline staff had to temporarily close the aircraft doors. Subsequently, airport security personnel and airline staff escorted the fan group back to the waiting area and asked them to wait in the departure lounge.

Given the above situation, the airline believed that the 22 fans had not complied with the airline's safety regulations and related requirements, and feared that they would continue to disrupt cabin order after boarding, making them difficult to control. Therefore, the airline decided to refuse boarding to the 22 fans. This incident also caused flight delays.

Of the 22 fans, 12 agreed to check in their luggage, while the other 10 refused to cooperate and expressed dissatisfaction at being refused boarding. They engaged in provocative behavior during staff duties, ultimately leading to a conflict. The video circulating online shows footage taken by Suvarnabhumi Airport security personnel during the situation control operation. The individuals involved have since been handed over to the airline for further processing.

While the security personnel's control measures were intended to maintain passenger safety and ensure the normal operation of the airport, Suvarnabhumi Airport acknowledges that some security personnel engaged in inappropriate behavior and conduct during their duties, failing to meet airport service standards and related codes of conduct.

In response, Chananat Rodkul, head of the airport's security department, has ordered disciplinary proceedings against the security personnel involved. He has also required all security personnel to strictly adhere to service standards, strengthen emotional management, and treat passengers appropriately under all circumstances.

Furthermore, Suvarnabhumi Airport will conduct a comprehensive review of the incident and improve its emergency management and on-site response procedures to prevent similar incidents from recurring.

Suvarnabhumi Airport sincerely apologizes to the public for this incident and promises to further strengthen the management and supervision of all staff, ensuring airport safety while providing passengers with more professional and appropriate service.
