China Southern Airlines' eleventh C919 domestically produced large passenger aircraft officially entered service.

On June 12, a domestically produced C919 large passenger aircraft with tail number B-659X arrived at Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport from Nanchang Yaohu Airport, marking the official entry of China Southern Airlines' eleventh C919 into service. This is the first time China Southern Airlines has received a C919 domestically produced large passenger aircraft from COMAC (Jiangxi) Aircraft Manufacturing Co., Ltd. The China Southern Airlines receiving team fully utilized its previous experience in receiving the C909 model from COMAC (Jiangxi) Aircraft Manufacturing Co., Ltd. to ensure the smooth delivery of this C919.

China Southern Airlines' C919 fleet has now taken initial shape. China Southern Airlines continues to strengthen the construction of its domestically produced passenger aircraft support team, and uses the "Tianji" system with independent intellectual property rights to manage the entire life cycle of the China Southern Airlines C919 model. At the same time, it is working hard on the matching of China Southern Airlines' intelligent flight terminals and the refined management of operational standards, so as to promote the operational support level of China Southern Airlines' domestically produced large aircraft to a new level.

With the continuous expansion of its fleet, the C919 has become a vital component of China Southern Airlines' operations. As of June 12, China Southern's C919 fleet had operated over 11,000 flights, carrying a total of 1.55 million passengers. Since the beginning of this year, the C919 has operated over 5,300 flights, serving several regular commercial routes, including Guangzhou to Beijing Daxing, Xi'an, Hangzhou, Ningbo, Nanjing, Wenzhou, Taiyuan, and Hefei, as well as Changsha to Beijing Daxing and Xi'an. Furthermore, the aircraft has participated in the Dubai Airshow in the UAE, continuously showcasing the safety and reliability of domestically produced large aircraft.
In the future, with the delivery and introduction of new aircraft, China Southern's C919 route network will further expand, and flight frequency will increase further.
