Starting September 16, 2026, Terminal 2 of Fuzhou Changle International Airport will officially commence operations. Domestic flights operated by Xiamen Airlines, Hebei Airlines, and Jiangxi Airlines will be transferred to Terminal 2 starting at 05:00 on September 16. All international and Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan flights will also be transferred to Terminal 2 starting at 05:00 on September 16.
Regarding international and regional flights, Xiamen Airlines, Cambodia Airways, Korean Air, Scoot, Lion Air, Shanghai Airlines, Spring Airlines, Cathay Pacific, and Mandarin Airlines will all relocate to Terminal 2.
Spring Airlines
Starting September 16, 2026, Spring Airlines' international inbound and outbound flights at Fuzhou Changle International Airport will be moved to Terminal 2.
Starting September 16, Xiamen Airlines flights to and from Fuzhou will be transferred to Terminal 2.
Terminal 2, themed "Autumn Charm and Silk Road Sails Far Away," incorporates elements from traditional houses such as the saddle wall in Sanfang Qixiang and integrates them with natural elements of Fuzhou, such as banyan trees and jasmine flowers. The roof resembles ocean waves, and the skylights are like ripples. The atrium and skylights create a "treasure vase" imagery, perfectly blending the culture of Fuzhou, the heritage of the Maritime Silk Road, and the functions of a modern airport.

As a key livelihood project in Fujian Province and an important aviation gateway on the west coast of the Taiwan Strait, the expansion and upgrade of Fuzhou Changle International Airport is of profound significance. Upon completion, it will handle up to 36 million passengers annually, significantly optimizing the regional air travel experience, further improving Fujian's external air connections, effectively enhancing Fuzhou's status as an international comprehensive transportation hub, and better serving the construction of the cross-strait integrated development demonstration zone.

Due to the ongoing construction of the Airport Ground Transportation Center (GTC), Fuzhou Airport has arranged transitional transportation routes for passengers.
Arrival Hall Transportation Transfers:
01. Passengers taking the Binhai Express Metro Line can exit from Gate 29 of the Arrival Hall, walk through the covered walkway to the P1 parking garage, and walk approximately 300 meters towards Terminal 1 to Exit B of the Binhai Express Line.
02. Passengers taking the Yuanxiang Express Line can purchase tickets at the ticket booth between the elevator in the domestic baggage claim area and Gates 30-31 outside the Arrival Hall, and board the express line at Gate 32.
03. Passengers taking taxis can exit from Gate 29 of the Arrival Hall and queue orderly at the airport shuttle bus stop outside Gate 27. Passengers taking ride-hailing services can exit from Gate 30 of the Arrival Hall, walk through the covered walkway to the P2 parking garage, and wait for their ride at the ride-hailing service point on the 1st floor near the GTC side.
