International business saw rapid growth, handling 14.15 million international passengers, a year-on-year increase of 18.74%, demonstrating the global connectivity of this "Southern Gateway of China." (Note: All production data above are preliminary figures.)
According to the plan, Baiyun Airport's 2030 target is an annual passenger throughput of 120 million, a terminal capacity of 140 million passengers, and a cargo and mail throughput capacity of 6 million tons. As a core supporting facility of Terminal 3, the concurrently built transportation hub focuses on "integrated air-land transfer," creating a "30/60/180" travel time circle-30 minutes to Guangzhou's central urban area, 60 minutes to major cities in the Pearl River Delta, and 180 minutes to neighboring provincial capitals. Through seamless connections between intercity railways, subways, high-speed rail, buses, and the airport, Baiyun Airport is no longer an isolated aviation node, but a "transportation heart" driving the efficient flow of people, goods, and capital in the Greater Bay Area, providing crucial support for Guangdong and even the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area to enhance their global resource allocation capabilities and deeply participate in international industrial chain collaboration.
