According to foreign media reports, an American Airlines flight from Eleuthera North Airport in the Bahamas to Charlotte was canceled on April 19, not due to mechanical failure or weather problems, but because of an argument between two pilots from a preceding flight in the cockpit.

This incident left passengers waiting in the scorching sun for an hour and a half, which was further exacerbated by chaotic ground services.

news-1-1

The CRJ700 regional jet, operated by PSA Airlines, a wholly owned subsidiary of American Airlines, was scheduled to operate the aforementioned flight on the 19th, but the preceding flight arrived at Iljusela North Airport nearly two hours late.

At that time, all passengers were waiting to board, the aircraft was in good condition, and the crew was in position. However, the situation took a sharp turn for the worse-reportedly, an argument broke out between the two pilots.

The passengers were initially unaware that the flight would be canceled; they had even lined up outdoors to board. As a result, they waited in the scorching Caribbean sun on the tarmac for an hour and a half.

When the airline finally decided to cancel the flight, poor ground service further exacerbated the passengers' ordeal. All passengers were unable to travel that day and needed to reschedule their trips. This meant they needed hotel rooms and transportation to their hotels.

However, the passengers were told to solve all these problems themselves-despite the airline's promise to provide such assistance if the flight was canceled due to the airline's own fault.
