Passengers can fly directly from Fujian to the Maldives without the need for transfer, greatly shortening the transportation time between the two places. In addition to the first flight, Xiamen Airlines will also carry out direct charter flights from Fuzhou to Male on February 18 and February 22, connecting Fujian and the Maldives' "Aerial Silk Road".
