Based on the assessment of air traffic control and ground support capabilities, Wuhan Tianhe has canceled restrictions on inbound traffic. China Eastern Airlines urgently deployed two aircraft de-icing trucks to Tianhe Airport, further improving the airport's de-icing efficiency. As of 18:00, more than 90 aircraft de-icing flights have been completed, and both runways of the airport are in airworthy condition.

In response to the subsequent forecast of light snow and low temperature weather at this site, the Wuhan Airport Operations Command and Support Department held multiple rounds of discussions and adopted a number of snow and ice removal measures. The runway and aircraft de-icing fluid and other materials are fully equipped, and runway de-icing vehicle personnel are on standby at all times. The support units are all prepared for de-icing support according to the ice and snow removal plan. At the same time, in response to possible flight delays, temporary cancellations, and long-term stranded passengers due to today's extreme weather, various support units at the airport continue to provide service support such as meal supply, ticket changes, and ground transportation.

According to statistics, there are 458 scheduled flights at Wuhan Tianhe Airport on February 6. As of 18:00, 220 flights have been executed (109 inbound and 111 outbound) and 238 flights have not been executed (127 inbound and 111 outbound). ).
