According to a May 22 announcement from the Henan Provincial Development and Reform Commission, after multiple reports and appeals to the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC), the capacity adjustment for Zhengzhou Xinzheng International Airport (hereinafter referred to as "Zhengzhou Airport") has been approved. Based on the capacity assessment results and its good safety record, the CAAC agreed to adjust the peak hour capacity standard for Zhengzhou Airport from 49 flights/hour to 53 flights/hour.
