Aviation obstruction light refers to a special kind of special aviation light fixture that marks the obstacles that affect the flight safety, take-off and landing safety of aviation aircraft through the flashing of the sign light.

In addition to the flash color to follow the regulations of the relevant civil aviation standards, the flash frequency also has related requirements and specifications. Aviation obstruction lights according to height are divided into three types: high-intensity obstruction lights, medium-intensity obstruction lights and low-intensity obstruction lights.

The specifications for the flashing frequency of aviation obstruction lights are as follows:

High-intensity white flashing obstruction light, 40 flashes/min;

High-intensity white flashing obstacle light, 60 flashes/min;

Medium intensity red flashing obstruction light, 20 flashes/min~ 40 flashes/min;

Medium intensity white flashing obstruction light, 40 flashes/min;

Medium intensity white flashing obstruction light, 60 flashes/min;

Medium intensity red flashing obstruction light, 60 flashes/min.

The low-intensity red obstruction light has a low use height, so its flash mode is a constant light, and does not use a flash mode.
