Recently, Guangzhou City issued the "Implementation Plan for the Development of Guangzhou's Low-altitude Economy" to accelerate the high-quality development of Guangzhou's low-altitude economy.
According to the plan, by 2027, the overall scale of Guangzhou's low-altitude economy will reach about 150 billion yuan. The general aviation infrastructure and flight environment have been significantly improved, an industrial system dominated by high-end intelligent manufacturing has been initially formed, the reform of low-altitude airspace management has achieved results, the low-altitude flight service guarantee capability has been significantly improved, and the level of technological innovation in the low-altitude field is leading the country.
In terms of intelligent aircraft sales, the first flying car "made in Guangzhou" was produced and sold to the world, promoting the production value of related manned aircraft, flying cars, cargo drones, consumer drones, traditional helicopters and other aircraft manufacturing industries to exceed 110 billion yuan.
In terms of commercial operations of urban advanced air traffic, Guangzhou has been promoted to become the first city in China to commercialize manned flights, and the market size of key operating service areas such as low-altitude economic cross-border flights, business customization, short-distance passenger transport, cultural tourism consumption, logistics and transportation, emergency medical care, and exhibition services has reached 30 billion yuan.
In terms of low-altitude infrastructure, Guangzhou's first runway-type general airport will be built, and more than five hub-type vertical take-off and landing fields and more than 100 regular take-off and landing points will be newly built. The scale of investment in low-altitude infrastructure will exceed 10 billion yuan.
