Chengdu Tianfu International Airport opens international to domestic flights

Recently, Chengdu Tianfu International Airport officially opened international to domestic flights.
On April 18th, Sichuan Airlines 3U3904 arrived at Chengdu Tianfu International Airport from Ho Chi Minh. Among them, 28 transit passengers disembarked from the plane and completed entry clearance through the dedicated international to domestic passenger channel. They quickly transferred to the next domestic flight and became the first batch of passengers at Tianfu International Airport to enjoy the convenience of international to domestic check-in and direct luggage transfer to their destination.
Unlike previous transfer modes, international to domestic flights have optimized the transfer process, eliminating processes such as waiting for checked baggage pick-up and re checking procedures, and also shortening the transfer route. On that day, the first passenger completed the entire transfer process from disembarking in less than an hour, saving at least 45 minutes compared to previous modes.
