Civil Aviation Resource Network News on December 2, 2022: According to "India Business Wire", Indian online travel platform EaseMyTrip announced that it will acquire 75% of the shares of Nutana Aviation Capital IFSC Private Limited, an Indian aviation asset financing and leasing company. EaseMyTrip taps into the growing air charter market in India and overseas.
With this acquisition, Nutana Aviation will ensure the company caters to and expands its footprint in international markets. Following the EaseMyTrip investment, Nutana Aviation will continue to operate as a separate entity.
Sanjay Mandavia, founder of Nutana Aviation, said: "This will not only support its organic growth in the tourism industry, but also obtain more opportunities related to booking charter flights and leasing air services." It had closed up nearly 5% the previous day.
