In March, the number of passengers at Hong Kong Airport was 2.8 million, a year-on-year increase of more than 28 times

In March, Hong Kong International Airport handled 2.8 million passengers, a surge of more than 28 times compared to March 2022. Cargo volume rose 5.8% year-on-year to 372,000 metric tons, and aircraft movements in March more than doubled year-on-year to 20,130.

In the first three weeks of April, the average daily passenger traffic of Hong Kong International Airport continued to increase, handling about 100,000 passengers a day, reaching 50% of the pre-epidemic level.

Passenger demand continues to improve in March 2023 after travel restrictions are lifted. The number of tourists of all categories increased significantly compared to the same month last year, among which the number of visitors from Hong Kong residents was strong. The most notable increases were recorded in visitor numbers to and from Southeast Asia, Mainland China and Japan.

The uncertain global economic outlook continues to have an impact on freight volumes. The year-on-year increase in cargo volume in March 2023 is mainly due to the fact that the supply chain was disrupted due to the epidemic in the same month last year, resulting in a lower comparison base. Export cargo volume increased by 19% year-on-year. Cargo volumes to and from major trading regions in North America, the Middle East and Europe recorded the most significant increases during the month.  low price Inset TLOF,China LED siderow light,High Intensity Type B price,
