Recently, the Civil Aviation Administration of China East China Regional Administration officially issued a General Aviation Airport Operation Permit to Fuyang Jieshou Airport, marking a decisive step towards the official operation of the first Class A1 general aviation airport in northern Anhui Province, clearing the final obstacle to its opening.

It is reported that as early as March 2025, the airport project successfully passed the completion acceptance of all civil aviation and non-civil aviation building construction projects, and subsequently entered the pre-operation preparation stage. According to the license information, the owner of Fuyang Jieshou Airport is Anhui Yangcheng Construction and Development Group Co., Ltd., while the operation is handled by Anhui General Aviation Holding Group Co., Ltd. This is the second general aviation airport operated and managed by the group in the province, following Feidong Bailong Airport.
As a Class A1 general aviation airport open to the public, Fuyang Jieshou Airport is located in Wangduozhuang, Dahuang Town, Jieshou City. The flight area is built to 2B standards, covering an area of approximately 310,000 square meters, including a total apron area of 22,800 square meters with 12 aircraft stands. The runway is 1,000 meters long and 30 meters wide, effectively meeting the needs of passenger-carrying aircraft with 10 or more people and commercial manned flight activities, providing solid hardware support for various general aviation businesses.

According to the "Anhui Province General Aviation Airport Layout Plan (2019-2035)," Fuyang City plans to construct five general aviation airports in Jieshou, Yingshang, Linquan, Funan, and Taihe, ranking first in northern Anhui and tied for third in the province. In the future, as these airports are gradually completed and put into operation, Fuyang City will achieve full coverage of general aviation airports across its counties, further improving the province's general aviation airport network and providing strong support for the high-quality development of Anhui's low-altitude economy.
