The main runway of the second phase expansion project of Fuzhou Changle International Airport was officially illuminated, marking the project's entry into its final stage. On November 28th, with the sequential lighting of over 12,000 navigation lights on the main runway, the 3,600-meter-long and 45-meter-wide main runway of Fuzhou Changle International Airport was fully completed. The intelligent navigation lighting system will effectively reduce the impact of weather conditions such as fog, rain, and snow on flight operations, lowering the probability of flight delays and cancellations. In addition, the main structure of the integrated transportation center in the second phase expansion project has been basically completed, and the interior decoration and electromechanical installation of the new terminal building are in the final stages. The second phase expansion project of Fuzhou Changle International Airport is expected to be fully completed and put into operation in 2026, with an annual passenger throughput of 36 million and a cargo and mail handling capacity of 450,000 tons, injecting strong momentum into the high-quality development of Fuzhou's economy and society.
