Xiamen Airlines to return two Boeing 787 aircraft

On May 23, Xiamen Airlines issued the "B-2762 and B-2763 Aircraft Return Lease Inspection Project Tender Announcement".
According to the announcement, Xiamen Airlines is now conducting domestic public bidding for the B-2762 and B-2763 aircraft return lease inspection and maintenance service projects, requiring the return lease inspection of the two aircraft to be completed between November 2025 and July 2026.
Data shows that Xiamen Airlines currently has 6 Boeing 787-8 aircraft and 6 Boeing 787-9 aircraft. Both B-2762 and B-2763 aircraft are Boeing 787-8 models with an age of 10 years.
On June 19, 2015, Xiamen Airlines received its fifth Boeing 787 aircraft B-2762. The introduction of this aircraft is the first aircraft leasing business since the Fujian Free Trade Pilot Zone was listed. It was introduced to Xiamen Airlines by Jianxin Financial Leasing Company through its project company established in Xiangyu Free Trade Zone in the form of operating lease.
On September 30, 2015, Xiamen Airlines received its sixth Boeing 787 aircraft B-2763. So far, Xiamen Airlines' first batch of 6 Boeing 787-8 aircraft have all arrived.
